Flung is a new record label that explores music and sound works from a range of contemporary, experimental, composition, improvisation, and other practices and aesthetics.
Created by composer/producer Nicholas Moroz in London in 2025, Flung releases across a range of media, including vinyl, cassettes, CDs, and digitally via Bandcamp and streaming. Recordings range from studio productions to location and live concerts.
Flung’s first releases present a snapshot of four millennial British composers: Benjamin Tassie, Theo Alexander, Isabella Gellis, and Eden Lonsdale. Their diverse styles are underlined by a sensitivity to sound, space, harmony, history, and a wider hinterland of cultural memory and materiality.
Future releases to be announced will include in-house productions, recorded by Nicholas Moroz, as the label develops its own sound, and seeks to support creative communities of artists and listeners in the UK and around the world.
