Flung is a record label that explores music and sound works from a range of contemporary, experimental, compositional, and improvisational practices and aesthetics.

Created by composer/producer Nicholas Moroz in London in 2025, Flung releases across a range of media, including vinyl, cassettes, CDs, and digitally via Bandcamp and streaming. Recordings range from studio productions to location and live concerts, some recorded and produced by Nicholas himself.

Flung’s first releases present a snapshot of four millennial British composers: Benjamin Tassie, Theo Alexander, Isabella Gellis, and Eden Lonsdale. Subsequent releases in 2026 from artists Okkyung Lee, Raphaël Languillat, and Manja Ristić saw Flung’s catalogue expand its focus beyond the UK, and into other styles of improvisaton, noise, synth, sound art, and field recording. The diverse styles are underlined by a sensitivity to sound, space, harmony, history, and a wider hinterland of cultural memory and materiality.

Future releases to be announced will include in-house productions, recorded by Nicholas Moroz, as the label develops its own sound, and seeks to support creative communities of artists and listeners in the UK and around the world.
